On Robust Stability of Complex Polynomials

چکیده

Complex polynomial family with coeÆcients dependent aÆnely on a complex uncertain parameter is considered in this paper. New test for robust Hurwitz stability of a line segment is proposed. Simple numerical routine is presented for computation of a stability region in the complex parameter plane. The relationship between the H1 norm of a stable rational function and a stability bound on the complex uncertain parameter is highlighted. Possible utilization of this result for the H1 norm computation is outlined. Relation to positiveness of a two-sided (discretetime) polynomial matrix is discussed.
